The film industry and politics are full of quirky individuals. Film-makers make a parody of such individuals from time to time in the name of comedy.
In the past, in the movie Kodalu Diddina Kapuram, senior NTR got Satyanarayana to play the part of Satya Sai Baba and made a parody of him. There are many such instances in Tollywood and Bollywood.
Now, Srinu Vaitla is one director who banks heavily on parodies to entertain his audiences. Earlier, he made a parody of superstar Krishna through the character of Salmon Raj in Dubai Seenu.
Later, he made fun of music director Chakri. He is presently making Aagadu with Mahesh Babu. After making a parody of Pawan Kalyan in the teaser of Aagadu, it is said that Vaitla has included scenes in which he makes parody of TV star Omkar. There is also common opinion that he uses the names of female artistes unnecessarily in his films.
Many in the industry feel that Vaitla should refrain from such acts in future. Or, he might face trouble warn industry insiders.
