Chiru Remuneration Fixed As Rs 30 Cr?

Chiru Remuneration Fixed As Rs 30 Cr?

We all know that Megastar Chiranjeevi's comeback movie will be produced by his son Ram Charan. Yet, reports from Chennai indicate that Ram Charan is paying Rs 30 Cr as remuneration to his father for acting as hero in his production. How much truth lies in these reports.

Other than the fact that Lyca Productions, the production house that is producing Rajinikanth's Robo 2.0, is co-producing with Ram Charan this remake of Kaththi in Telugu, the film is by and large home production of Chiranjeevi. So whatever the amount he is getting would be just on paper.

Before Chiranjeevi stopped doing movies in 2007, he was the highest paid actor in Tollywood. Today Mahesh Babu is the highest paid star in Tollywood as he recently took remuneration of Rs 25 Cr for A R Murugadoss's next movie.

Given the image of Chiranjeevi it would not sound good if he takes less than what Mahesh Babu is getting now.

Hence Ram Charan reportedly offered to pay his father Rs 30 Cr. In reality it is an amount that can be seen on paper, not real remuneration.
