Katamarayudu Unlikely to Sustain at BO

Katamarayudu Unlikely to Sustain at BO

Going by the talk and the diminishing collections of "Katamarayudu" on the second day, Pawan Kalyan will be having second consecutive flop.

The film is witnessing huge drop of collections on Saturday all over AP and Telangana. So, it is unlikely to sustain at the box-office after the end of the first weekend.

His last year film "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" was a disaster though it got collected nearly Rs 50 Cr in the first weekend.

On the other hand, "Katamarayudu" didn't get record openings. It received only above Rs 20 Cr (this amount includes all the fixed hires and other amount) in two states. Will this even touch Rs 40 Cr mark? Doubtful, say the trade pundits.

Despite having great fan following, Pawan Kalyan is picking up outdated scripts and working with directors who have no experience in handling big heroes. This is why he is getting such results, say the analysts.

Ajith starrer "Veeram" itself was a bad commercial film in Tamil. Bagging the movie's remake rights is out rightly silly idea.
