'Back Bench Student' Music Review: Trendy & Youthful

'Back Bench Student' is the film that is coming up on March 21st in the direction of Madhura Sreedhar and the production of MVK Reddy. The music of the film released recently and has been hooking to the youth in a considerable way. Sunil Kashyap scored music. Sira Sri and Laxmi Bhoopal penned lyrics.

Engineering…
This is a pure youthful track meant for the students and that too the engineering grads in particular. With good pace and a energetic pitch, the composition is quite interesting and most importantly it is the lyrics which are practical yet witty. The vocals are merging with the flow of the song and this is a foot tapping track which can be enjoyed.

Jagada Jagada…
This is more like a tribute to the Ilaiyaraaja classic from ‘Geetanjali’ but it has been mixed very well with techno and trance beats. The best thing about the number is the way the rhythm has been maintained without any break and at the same time the due respect has been given to the original. The vocals are youthful and with peppy spirit while the lyrics are sensible to the moods of the song.

Vennelamma..
This is the melody track of the album and it has a bit of smooth pain in it but at the same time the background beats of the song were filled with good energy. The song got its good feel from the singer whose vocals were mellifluous. The composition with variety instruments and exuding a flavor of traditional and western beats is effective. This is a heart touching number.

I am sorry Vinara…
There is no love and romance without some fights and this song is exactly the depiction of a boy and girl who are having few tiffs. In terms of music, the composition of the track is much peppier with moderate beats. The chemistry between the male and female vocals is good and the lyrics are quite natural but they carry sufficient meaning. This is a somewhat different number but appealing.

Telisi Telisi…
A rather intense track the song takes off on a heart stirring tune of violin and eventually settles into a soothing melody. Though the background score was filled with variations it was shadowed well by the vocals and the melody quotient in them is worthy. The song gets a special feel with the lyrics which have been woven well to get the emotion. To those who just fell in love this is the number.

Simbus Power Mix..
This is a special attraction in this album. The voice of Kollywood actor Simbu is professional. Coming to the tune, the power mix has come out with good adrenalin and the tribute to the old classics ‘Jagada Jagada…’ ‘Raja Rajadhi Raja…’ were justified. The lyrics gave the apt description of teen and youth spirit. Overall, this is a song which can be used for party tracks and some fun.

Sachin Tendulkar Back Bencher
This is the title song of the album and true to its theme the entire track runs on a cheerful and thrusting note which is sure to strike a chord with the backbenchers. The way the names of all celebrities have been sequenced deserves true appreciation. The music was subdued and gave the required preference to the vocals. This is more of a foot tapping cool song which can be heard more in college canteens, college fetes and farewell parties.
