Fact Sheet: Undavilli Planning TV Serial to Lampoon Ramoji!
Undavilli Arun Kumar, who
is crossing swords with Ramoji Rao, wants to dub one Hindi
TV Serial to Telugu just to lampoon the latter. He is toying
with the idea of buying the rights of the most successful
TV Serial produced by Smriti Irani.
This serial, which being screened
on Sony TV, has higher ratings. The story centers on a Media
Tycoon who thinks he is always right. The name of the character
is Dhirendra Raisinghania, which is played by the actor Vikram
Gokhale.
According to Undavilli this
role has the striking semblance of Ramoji Rao. He thinks Ramoji
can better be exposed in bad light, if the serial’s
Telugu version is telecast.
