Fact Sheet: Undavilli Names His Weekly ‘Eevaram’
Undavilli Arunkumar, who is waging war with Ramoji Rao, has named after his proposed Weekly Newspaper as ‘Eevaram’. The title is almost a parody to Ramoji’s ‘Eenadu’.
He did one more thing to irritate Ramoji Rao. He opened the office just adjacent to ‘Margadarshi’ office in Nampally, Hyderabad.( Maragadarshi was the point of dispute between Ramoji and Undavilli). He is planning to release an introductory brochure and a poster on 14th of May to match the third anniversary of Y.S Rule in the State.
He, however, has failed to appoint an editor to this journal. Though he contacted reputed editors in the state, they didn’t come forward. They didn’t want to invite the ire of Ramoji Rao by joining hands Undavilli. An editor, who was instrumental in the launch and revival of mainstream Newspapers, quoted higher figure for his remuneration, instead of saying no.
Sensing the mood of the editors, he wanted to name himself as the editor and induct lesser souls in journalism or retired journalists as his subordinates.
As there are no colleagues in the party to support this venture, he has mustered the support of few congressmen from his own community. No individual MLA or MP of Congress Party is willing to identify himself or herself with Undavilli. Yet every one is curious to see how Undavill’s Weekly writes about Ramoji.
