Fact Sheet: Naidu avoids SP leaders in Delhi!
With the hopes of forming a third front as an alternative to the UPA and the NDA being shattered following the debacle of Samajwadi Party in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu is finding excuses to come out of the embarassing situation.
Naidu was in New Delhi for two days to participate in the Maha Dharna against Babli project, but he conveniently avoided meeting any of the Samajwadi Party leaders, including Amar Singh, who was very much in the national capital and hospitalised. He did not even have a courtesy talk with the Left party leaders, leave alone discussing the third front issue. Interestingly, he had a chat with BJP national vice president M Venkaiah Naidu, who extended support to his agitation on Babli.
It was no surprise to those who know the mentality of Chandrababu. If things work out well for him, he would have sweet talk with the other party leaders. And the moment he feels that it would be politically disadvantageous for him, he would avoid them. That's Naidu politics!
