Behind The Scene: Ex-TD MLA in land grabbing case!

The ruling Congress party, which is facing innumerable allegations of land scandals, has found a solid case of land grabbing by a former Telugu Desam MLA S A Rehman in Visakhapatnam.

The Bhimili police registered a case against Rehman on charges of grabbing 2.30 acres of municipal land in Kottavalasa under Bhimili mandal. He was charged with trespassing into government land, cutting of palm trees and construction of approach road.

The police said action would be taken against the former MLA after conducting an inquiry into the allegations.

The local Congress leaders are plannng to make it a big political issue, as Rehman has fair chances of becoming the MLA again in the next elections.
