Behind The Scene: KCR remains a loner in Delhi!
Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao, who was one of the prominent political figures at the national level when he was in the UPA government, has lost his sheen, thanks to the fake passport scam rocking the party and suspension of Narendra.
When he visited New Delhi last week, there was hardly any leader who called on him at his residence. He led a delegation of TRS leaders to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on controversial danger signal on beedi bundles, but there was not much response. Even the media coverage for his press conference was far from satisfactory. In fact, nobody even acknowledged the presence of KCR in New Delhi, though he was there for about a week. He spent the days boozing and talking to his loyalists all through his stay. And when he returned to Hyderabad on Sunday, there were no body to receive him at the airport, leave alone the media hungama.
Perhaps it is for this reason that KCR wanted to go back into the UPA. If he becomes a Cabinet minister again, he would have been in the limelight for one reason or the other, which is what he desperately wants.
