Spy Report: Eenadu To Herald ‘Price War’ in Telugu News Paper Industry!

Well. The much expected war in Media begins at last. While Y.S.Jagan’s News Paper ‘Sakshi’ is yet to be launched, South Indian Media Mughal Ramoji Rao is ready to invite ‘Price War’. Yes. He has worked out a strategy to sell his Paper ‘Eenadu’ for just one Rupee. As the largest circulated News Paper, this publication is already enjoying 10 lakhs copies of circulation, taking the lion’s share of the market. The total circulation of all other News Papers may come around 4 lakhs. Now Ramoji is planning to take away their circulation too, before ‘Sakshi’ enters the market. It is reliably learnt, it was Jagan who thought of giving ‘Sakshi’ for Rupee One as invitation price. Sensing Jagan’s move much in advance, Ramoji has worked out the plan with his marketing, sources close to Eenadu reveal.
