Behind The Scene: Diggy and KK abetting dissidence?
Looks like the Congress high command has a lenient attitude towards the dissidence activity in the State Congress and wants to watch how the Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy is going to tackle it; or whether he has the capability to do so.
An interesting point to be noted is that AICC incharge of AP affairs Digvijay Singh, who is considered to be a strong supporter of the Chief Minister, himself appears to be abetting the dissidents now. Diggy, who earlier had taken it very serious the open criticism by Hyderabad brothers – P Janardhan Reddy and M Shashidhar Reddy – is now moving with the same people.
According to Gandhi Bhavan sources, Diggy and PCC president K Kesava Rao, who were not happy with YSR for ignoring their recommendations in the Cabinet expansion, are encouraging the dissidence against YSR. At the breakfast meeting hosted by Union Minister Renuka Chowdary for Khammam leaders, Diggy and KK moved together and hobnobbed with the disgruntled elements like M Satyanarayana Rao. In the coming days, there is every chance that KK will play a major role in the dissidence activity against YSR.
