Behind The Scene: Dattanna hits half century!

Bharatiya Janata Party State unit president Bandaru Dattatreya has hit a half century. Sounds intersting, but it is true.

On Tuesday, coinciding with May Day celebrations, Dattanna dashed off his 50th letter to Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, accusing the latter of neglecting workers and labourers of unorganised sector in the last three years. As usual, the CMO has pushed Dattatreya's letter into the dustbin.

Dattatreya has been writing letters to the Chief Minister for a quite long time on every burning issue. In fact, he wrote hundreds of letters to the Chief Minister in the past, but it was his 50th letter in the capacity as the State BJP president. Everyday, he goes through all the newspapers and if there is any major news against the State government or any scandal, he immediately notes down the points and with the help of his daughter, he drafts letter and faxes it to the Chief Minister's Office.

It goes without saying that the copies of the letter are also sent to all media offices by evening for publication.
