Fact Sheet: Now, it is Narendra Yuva Sena!
The suspension of senior Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader A Narendra from the party had its own impact on the party cadres in several parts of Telangana.
Especially the youth workers spontaneously formed Narendra Yuva Sena in Karimnagar, supposed to be the stronghold of KCR. They burnt the effigy of the TRS president in protest against Narendra's suspension. They were of the view that KCR was turning out to be a great dictator in the party and was not sparing those who questioned his misdeeds.
The suspension is also gradually leading to polarisation of Telangana BCs against KCR, which is expected to hit the prospects of TRS in the next elections. Narendra's suspension is being viewed as a humiliation to BCs. Interestingly, Narendra hails from Padmashali community (weavers), who are in sizeable number in Karimnagar. This might affect his winning prospects in the next elections.
KCR is now desperately trying to project Narendra as an anti-national, involved in human trafficking. He is of the fond hope that Narendra would be arrested in the scandal sooner or later, so that the image of the TRS would remain unaffected.
