Behind The Scene: KCR involved in girl trafficking?
The suspension of senior Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader and Medak MP A Narendra from the party may not have evoked any surprise in the political circles, but it has certainly exposed the murky politics in the TRS.
While the TRS leadership has accused Narendra of indulging in human trafficking through illegal passports, Narendra charged KCR with involvement in immoral trafficking of girls. And he used choicest words against KCR, describing the latter as drunkard, debaucher and cheater. He also alleged that KCR had swindled crores of rupees collected in the name of constructing Telangana Bhavan and collected Rs 50 lakh from one Malhotra of New Delhi, promising him Rajya Sabha ticket.
The allegations have given a new weapon to the Congress party. The Y S Rajasekhar Reddy can now order an inquiry into the alleged girl trafficking by KCR, besides other allegations of financial irregularities. It is a different matter whether the allegations would be proved or not, but the image of KCR would certainly take a dip.
