With the exposure of fake certificate scandal rocking his image, Nizamabad MP Madhu Yashki is learnt to have sought the help of Home Minister K Jana Reddy to save his skin.

Yashki reportedly told Jana that the Chief Minister's Office was trying to fix him in the scandal only because he was highlighting the Telangana issue. Since Jana also hails from Telangana, Yashki pleaded with him to come to his rescue.

The Home Minister is learnt to have instructed the police not to go aggressive with Yashki case and if there are any such documents, they should bring it to his notice. The police authorities, too, do not want to push the issue too much, sources said.
