Believe it or not, the State government led by Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, is all prepared to felicitate Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu, for his overwhelming concern towards the inmates of social welfare hostels.

This was stated by Minister for Finance and Legislative Affairs K Rosaiah. Known for his witty and sarcastic remarks, Rosaiah said the government would felicitate Chandrababu Naidu by arranging a big function at Ravindra Bharati in the city for his concern for hostel students. He, however, has the rider: the Telugu Desam president should distribute blankets to all the students in all the hostels, instead of just a few blankets to a few students in a few hostels on a token basis. "We really appreciate, if Naidu has so much love towards the students. But he should not restrict himself to a few hostels, so as to gain political mileage. If he has sincerity, he should spend money and distribute blankets to all the students in all the hostels," Rosaiah said.
