Not a day passed without newspapers and TV channels carrying reports about the couple till a few days ago. The moment they landed in Hyderabad from New Delhi, the media grabbed them and flashed their interviews. And that's the end of the publicity. In the last four days there has been no news about the couple. No TV channel or newspaper bothered to visit them at their new residence said to be worth at least a Rs 1 crore.

Public memory, it is said, is short. But one did not imagine that it was so short that they had forgotten in a couple of days the people whom they had loved to read in newspapers or watch on television screens.

According to sources, the reason why mediapersons have stopped running after the couple is quite simple: Chiranjeevi has remained silent all these days. So the interesting touch has been robbed away from the couple's episode. After all who are interested in Chiranjeevi's daughter. If at all Srija had hogged all the limelight it is because of Chiranjeevi and the good image he enjoys in the State, both inside and outside the film industry. When Chiranjeevi himself has stopped talking about the couple in public, where then is the need for the common man to think of them.
