With the Congress biting the dust in the by-elections, the clamour for describing Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy as the only saviour of the party is growing stronger and stronger.
Jagan’s staunch follower and suspended PCC general secretary Ambati Rambabu stepped up his campaign for Jagan-as-saviour and said it was high time the party leadership hand over the reins to the Kadapa MP.
Reacting to the statement of his critics that Jagan was like a drop in the ocean for Congress, Ambati said: “yes, Jagan is a drop in the ocean. But if the Congress is a salty ocean, onlyJagan is a drop of pure water.” In a way, Ambati has dimissed all the Congress leaders as inefficient and only Jagan would make a difference in the party. He further said Jagan had not yet lost his patience on the kind of treatment he was getting from the party high command. “He is still patient, but the party leadership should not let him lose his patience,” he said.
