It was a rather uneventful week for the box office folks as nothing encouraging happened for them with the new releases. First in the list is the much talked about ‘Kothimooka’ which happens to be the directorial venture of senior actor AVS and the talented Krishnudu as the hero.
 
The film has turned out to be a dud and the opening day showed dismal results. Meanwhile, ‘Maryada Ramanna’ and ‘Sneha Geetham’ have been going strong. The latest release ‘Brahmalokam To Yamalokam Via Bhulokam’ got fair response but aggressive promotion is required to make it a success.
 
Rajasekhar has arrived with ‘Maa Annayya Bangaram’ and the film is a major torture. On the shooting end, Pawan Kalyan has wrapped up his dubbing for ‘Komaram Puli’ while the makers of ‘Simha’ have announced the 100 day celebration details. Meanwhile, rains have been playing havoc with the shooting of ‘Shakti’ and ‘Badrinath ‘in Manali.
