Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s statement at the public meeting in Kakinada on the conclusion of his Odarpu Yatra on Thursday night that he was running out of patience is being read between the lines by the political observers.
The statement clearly indicates that he is impatient. Now, the questions arise as to why he was impatient and for what? As of now, the high command has not made any statement against him, nor did it issue any straight warning to him or ask him to stop the yatra. All that it is doing is quietly watching his high-voltage drama. Only some Congress leaders are taking objections to the statements or comments by his followers like Ambati Rambabu or Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy.
So, it is clearly evident that Jagan is impatient because the high command has not been acknowledging the kind of response he is getting from the public to his yatra and making any attempts to elevate him to the post of chief minister.
Now, it remains to be seen how long he would remain impatient and what steps he would take, if the high command continues to ignore him. The battle lines are clearly drawn and Jagan has definitely reached a point of no return.
