The recent statement from union minister P Chidambaram has not given a clear standing on the separate Telangana issue but it has caused more confusion. While the T-supporters have been shuttling between Delhi and Hyderabad trying to apply more pressure, here is some news.

It is heard that the Congress high command is looking at coming up with a comprehensive developmental package for Telangana amounting upto Rs 10000 crores. This is something like what they have done in Vidarbha, Maharashtra recently.

Sonia is said to have the same plans for Telangana as well and the idea of splitting the state into two is ruled out. So far, nothing official has come out but then the experts hail this move and say that this is the best possible solution to the current crisis.
