It was with great hype and hoopla that megastar Chiranjeevi bid adieu to films and entered the field of politics. He started the Praja Rajyam Party with the hope of becoming the Chief Minister but the recent elections have shown him a bitter taste of reality.

Currently, Chiru is content with his position as an MLA and he has 18 MLAs supporting him. However, even that seems to have come under threat now. Out of the 18 MLAs, it is observed that 8 are jumping out and remaining are also looking at jumping back to their original parties.

Inside sources reveal that Chiru and his close aide Allu Aravind are said to be having many rounds of talks and are considering the option of shutting down the party. Though Chiru has been putting up a brave front in the presence of media, this is said to be the real situation and the truth will be known in the coming days.
