But yes, is planning a sort of comeback after his Sankardada Zindabad (the Sanjay Dutt-starrer Lage Raho Munabhai) fared well at the box-office in 2007. The grapevine has it that Chiranjeevi is planning to do the Telugu remake of Hindi film A Wednesday, which echoed the unanswered queries of people on the ever increasing threat of terrorism. The actor would play the ‘common man’ Naseeruddin Shah, while angry young man Srihari would don the cop’s role (played by Anupam Kher). However, director and producers are yet to be finalised.

With elections round the corner and the storyline being timely in the wake of recent Mumbai mayhem, let’s hope the film would promise Chiru a better means to reach out to the common man!
