Telugu IT Person Died Fighting Kidney Disease

Virginia: Telugu community in America lost a hardworking IT person Narender Pyata (52), who passed away battling a chronic kidney disease.  Narender hails from Hyderabad and has family members residing in Virginia. His colleagues reached out to NATA for help and assistance.  

The NATA team and President Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy conveyed their condolences to the Pyata family. NATA community services team provided financial assistance to the family for funeral rites and supported to the family at this tragic time.

Community chair Dr. Samba Reddy, Treasurer Srinivas Reddy Anugu, and RC Sudha coordinated this task. “This is the least NATA can do to fellow Telugu families at the times of distress”, said President Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy, and advisors Drs. Malla Reddy, Dr. Prem Reddy, MS Reddy and others.

Narender was an IT professional, a caring father, husband, and son, and an avid supporter of Indian art and culture. He used to attend many Telugu cultural programs including events organized by NATA in the DC area. According to his daughter, he was not able to visit India after his first kidney transplant, but he felt a little closer to his homeland when he attended the NATA shows.  

Narender came to the US in 1997 but could not fulfill his dreams due to ill health.  His mother donated one of her kidneys a few years ago, but it failed two years later. Early this year, he underwent a second transplant and met with complications. After being placed on ventilator for ten days, he passed away quietly on his accord on April 30th, 2014 at age 52.  NATA prays for the peace of his soul in heaven. 

NATA Emergency help is available to all needy families, including financial and supportive care in case of tragedies, disasters and death.
