Telangana Voice: 'T-Leaders Are Mindless Comedians'

A new chapter has begun as part of the Telangana movement. This is the Sakalajanula Samme and recently few individuals from the Aam Janta were asked about their opinion on the essence and impact of this.

Here are few thoughts. Visweswar Rao, a government employee said “The Telangana leaders are saying ‘Sakalajanula Samme’ but I think it is pure comedy. They are saying they will stop people from Seemandhra region after Dusssehra. How will they do it? Does that mean there are no Telangana people in those vehicles? The leaders are mindless comedians and I pity the ignorance of those who are following these leaders.”

Santha Kumari, a retired bank employee said “Over the years, many Telangana people have married people from other regions of the state. There are many relations and bonding all over Andhra Pradesh. Are these T-leaders going to build a wall with this Samme? What are they thinking? Is it a movement for a separate state or separate country? This is ridiculous.”

Niranjan, an MNC employee said “The T-agitators are now pulling the water and electricity employees into the movement. Does this not show a sadistic approach in their movement? Will it not affect local Telanganaites? I am for separate Telangana state but I must say that these leaders are looking like jokers and sadists with their agendas.”

Narahari, a student from Mahabubnagar said “They are thinking that Sakalajanula Samme is something historic like Non-Cooperation movement. What the T-leaders should realize is that movement was done against the British, not with our own people. With this movement, the local Telangana people are getting affected and the Telangana region is going backward. These are mindless activities by the leaders with rubbish movements.”

Mallikarjun, a businessman who shuttles between Khammam and Hyderabad said “Fighting for a separate Telangana state is a good thought. And it can gain the support of the people. But with such nonsense movements like Sakala Janula Samme, it is only showing the immaturity of the leaders. By hurting our own Telangana people, they are disgracing the entire ‘Udyamam’. Few of my close friends who are in government offices have admitted that they are taking part in this movement only out of fear for the union and not because of any sentiment. This is rather shameful.”
