Telangana Peoples Association of Dallas is a non-profit organization started with the intention of cultural awareness and social cause to uplift the community.
TPAD’s three principles of Inspiration, Interaction, Inclusion has always been observed in every activity.
Each year TPAD conducts a variety of social and cultural events with participation of hundreds of volunteers across the community.
We started 2016 with the noble cause of blood donation on March 26th from 8 am to 2 pm. This is the 2nd year in row that TPAD has partnered with Carter Blood Care to conduct the blood drive.
Carter Blood Care helps giving life to lot of people by collecting blood from volunteers across Texas.
The various components of blood are used for different purposes. Madhavi Sunkireddy (Convenor) with support from Sreenivas Vemula (Co-Convernor), Indrani Pancharpula, Sumana Basani and the rest of the Executive team worked together in bringing Carter Blood Care and motivating the donors by explaining the benefits of blood donation.
We also had our enthusiastic TPAD volunteers that are always ready to serve the community. All the slots provided by Carter Blood Care were full.
Carter Blood Care was very happy with the huge turn out of donors. Susan Holt of Carter Blood Care applauded the services of TPAD. They were surprised with the enormous turn out.
TPAD has planned other events for 2016 including Vanabhojanalu, Shaam-e-Mehfil, Bathukamma & Dasara Sambaralu.
The entire organizational members of TPAD, the Foundation Committee members led by Ajay Reddy Eleti (Foundation Chair), Raghuveer Bandaru (BOT-Chair), Rao Kalvala, Janaki Ram Mandadi, Upender Telugu (Coordinator), Raj Gondhi, Mahendar Kamireddy with Board of trustees Praveen Billa (Co-Chair of BoT), Sharada Singireddy, Ashok Kondala, Ganga Devara, Pavan Gangadhara and Ram Annadi along with Executive Committee lead by Madhavi Sunkireddy (Convener), Sreenivas Vemula (Co-Convenor), Sudhakar Kalasani, Rajender Todigala, Anand Kathroju, Indrani Pancharpula, Linga Reddy Alwa, Karan Poreddy, Sreenivas Gangadhara, Satya Perikari, Sumana Basani and Satish Janumpalli along with TPAD advisors, Venu Bhagyanagar, Vikram Jangam, Naresh Sunkireddy, Manohar Kasagani and Ravi Shankar Patel were present for the successful conduct of the event.
We are grateful for all the volunteers and blood donors for making this event a grand success.
