TATA celebrated Telangana Formation Day

Telangana American Telugu Association, Tri State area division (NJ, NY, PA), US has celebrated it's first anniversary of Telangana Formation Day on June 2nd the same day of Telangana State Formation at Royal Albert Palace, Edison, New Jersey.

Even though it’s on the working day, with flood warnings and continuous down pouring rain all day, over 300 people showed up for big celebrations.

It started with lamp lighting by Balwanth  Kommidi, Mahender Musuku, Dr. Mohan Pataolla, Ramesh Chadra, Santosh Pathuri,  Mahesh Bigala  (core committee members), Dr. Rama Malladi, Sudheer Reddy, Prashanth Vemuganti, Baswaraj Tammaly, Dhanraj Seri, Srinivas Pathuri, Vijay Vaidyula members of Telangana American Telugu Association.

It was also well attended by Narender Yasa, Harinder Reddy from Chicago, Anna Reddy, Srikanth Reddy, Ravi Peddi, Pradeep Suwarna, Ramesh Maganti, Vijay Kundur, other Telugu organisation members.

Performance of musical night (Mr. Srikanth &Mrs. Harini)  and continued with kids classical performances (Siddendra Kuchipudi Art Acadamy) followed by Prayers. The Indian and US National Anthems (Jhansi, Rishab and Srinidhi) along with the Telangana official song were played.

Afterwards, the guests speakers (Mahender Musuku, Balwanth Kommidi and Mahesh Bigala) core members of Telangana American Telugu Association and  speakers (Sharath Chanra and Ranjeeth Reddy) from New York, and Dr. Swamy Bodige and Suresh Venkannagari from PA, finally Bindu Madiraju of  the Telegu Fine Arts Sociaty (TFAS) spoke about the Telangana Formation Day. The celebrations ended with a cake cutting and dinner with a musical performance.

This event is sponsored by Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy Garu, Telangana American Telugu Association founder. Dr. Reddy is  Philanthropist, the prominent South Asian origin American entrepreneur who hails from newly formed Telangana.  He is committed to development of Telangana State as evidenced by donating Rs. 60 Lakhs for mission Kakatiya.

Telangana American Telugu Association is front runner in helping  the development of Telangana  State. Many thanks to Dr. Reddy Garu for making the Telangana formation day event Grand success.
