T.A.T.A Board Meeting held in Bay Area

Telangana American Telugu Association held its Board Meeting and their first Telangana Cultural Festival showcasing the prominent folklore and home talent from the state of Telangana.

Inviting all to the Golden State the local team made extensive arrangements for people coming from across the country. Spearheading the preparations was president Jhansi Reddy. Prior to the Telangana Cultural festival T.A.T.A held its periodic board meeting where the members went through progress of each wing such as membership, community services, cultural, sports and other activities for which T.A.T.A stands tall.

Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy chair of the Advisory Council wished all, a great success of the Cultural Event. He insisted all to work towards the outlined objectives of the organization and requested to think of how T.A.T.A as an organization can become synonym for welfare and hold the image of T.A.T.A high.

Dr. Haranath Policherla, advisory council co-chair spoke at the occasion and congratulated on the progress made in all fronts. Later Mohan Patalolla, advisory council member felt highly contended looking at people coming forward in making the event a grand success.

President Jhansi Reddy welcomed all to the board meeting and to the first anniversary and mentioned working with the team is a great experience and exclaimed that having such a good team added to the success of T.A.T.A.

Executive Committee who oversaw the board meeting were Mahender Musuku, Srinivas Anugu, Bharath Madadi, Vikram Jangam, Mahesh Adibhatla, Goutham Goli, Anil Arrabelli, Ramesh Chandra, Santosh Pathuri. They opined T.A.T.A has now made inroads both in United States and Telangana and requested the team to raise more memberships and pursue occasions to serve the Telugu speaking people across the globe.

The Board of Directors expressed their opinions and vowed to work towards uplifting the image of T.A.T.A. Regional Vice-Presidents, Standing Committee Chairs, Regional Coordinators updated the board outlining the programs to be undertaken in the upcoming year. Some signature programs include Mother’s Day, Telangana Formation Day, Telangana Cultural Night, Bathukamma, Dasara Panduga among others.

The board also discussed on the upcoming T.A.T.A Convention in 2017. The preliminary reports suggested May Memorial Day weekend either in Bay Area, CA or Dallas, TX.

The evening then marked the cultural festival marking the anniversary for T.A.T.A, among the chief guests were Energy Minister G. Jagadish Reddy, MLA Rasamayi Balksihan, Anchors Chitra Lekha and Raghu Vemula.

The Bay Area team enthralled with their cultural preparations and the festival saw the true flair of Telangana Culture. Over 2000 witnessed in the event and witnessed the high voltage cultural performances. Among the coordinators were Vijay Chavva, Appi Reddy, Srinivas Manapragada, Ramesh Thangelapalli, Uday, Nihar, Abhilash Rangineni.

The cultural festival ended with thanking all media partners and facility providers and to all Yuva Telangana volunteers who worked round the clock in making the event a great success.
