T.A.T.A 2nd Anniversary kick-off held in Dallas

Telangana American Telugu Association an organization that has been making inroads with community service, social and cultural activities in North America kicked off their second anniversary celebrations in Dallas, TX. The venue was @ Hilltop where over 150 members joined the kick-off event.

Welcoming the members was Sameera Illendula, Regional Vice-President of Dallas. She thanked member for coming despite conflicts and announced the event details that will happen on April 29th, 2017 at Dr. Pepper Arena.

She mentioned the venue was chosen considering the high turn-out based on the past experiences. She requested all the members to be part of the grandeur second anniversary and mentioned the team is working hard to ensure the event is highly successful. Later a brief video was played that reflected T.A.T.A accomplishments and social projects that were undertaken in the past 2 years.

Vikram R. Janagam, Secretary for T.A.T.A later explained the purpose of the second anniversary and the history of T.A.T.A’s evolution. He requested the members to be part of the extravagant anniversary that will be cherished for years to come.

He introduced the Anniversary Committees that were constituted. As the committees were called upon the stage the Event Coordinator Mahesh Adibhatla took charge of the proceedings and went through the details of the upcoming signature program and introduced the chairs of the committees.

Sameera Illendula, Mahendar Kamireddy, Manohar Kasagani, Shanti Nuthi, Rupa, Roja Adepu, Shaker Brahmmadevara, Santosh Kore, Ratna, Satheesh Nagilla, Suresh Pathaneni, Pavan Gangadhara, Chandra Police, Shyam Pati, Padmasree Thota comprised the chairs and co-chairs.

Mahesh Adibhatla alongside Vikram Janagam requested both national and local Telugu organizations to come forward and support the T.A.T.A anniversary celebrations. They reminded the visionary Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy was driving T.A.T.A making it a premier organization in the areas of Social and Cultural contributions to the society.

Mahesh Adibhatla mentioned under the supervision of Jhansi Reddy President, T.A.T.A the anniversary preparations are coming up stupendously. He thanked the Advisory Council, Executive Committee, Board of Directors and the National Team for reposing faith in the Dallas team and assured them of a remarkable program in making.

Representatives from various organizations who joined included from TANTEX, TPAD, DATA, TANA, ATA, NATA, NATS, IT-Serve among other community leaders. Telangana Peoples Association of Dallas (TPAD) became the first Diamond sponsor from Dallas to support the second anniversary.

Vikram Janagam took the opportunity to thank the leadership of TPAD for their unconditional support. The event also included a musical group of professional singers from DFW who enthralled the attendees with peppy numbers.
