TANA - Telugu Association of Nebraska Official Note

Telugu Samithi of Nebraska (TSN) with the support of Telugu Association of North America (TANA) organized a musical night to raise funds for the Cyclone Hudhud’s relief Fund on Sunday October 26th. 

More than 600 people attended event stated with a welcoming dance performed by youth of TSN. TANA President, Mohan Nannapaneni attended the event as a special guest and addressed the audience.

He explained that how TANA has been a very resourceful organization to the Telugu community in the USA as well as to the mother land India.

He said that TANA is not only a prestigious Telugu organization but also a leader in serving the community by contributing over 50 million dollars through TANA and TANA Foundation.

TSN audience applauded TANA’s TEAM Square for its outstanding service to the community in need.  Mohan Nannapaneni was felicitate d by TSN President Ashok Mudgapalli and TANA Regional Coordinator, Prasad Kolli. 

The event was followed by a four hour long entraining concert by singers Hemachandra, Sravanabhargavi and Mimickry Ramesh. All the audience, particularly the young children and the youth thoroughly enjoyed the performances by dancing along with the singers.

Prasad Kolli, also the Vice President of TSN coordinated the event. He thanked TSN Executive Committee members Somasekhar Kodali, Rambabu Kallepalli, Siva Ganga, Venugopal Boinpalli, Nageswara Rao Athota, Mahesh Parchuri, Devineni Swaroop, Mahesh Gudaru, Gopal Pravathi, Swetha Vellanki, Venu vellanki, Srinivas Karri, Devi Kotaru, Manoja  Renugunta & Prasanna Dharmavarapu for making this event grand success.  Swetha Vellanki anchored the show and TSN President, Ashok thanked donors Dr. Charan, Siva Ganga, other donors and audience for making this event a grand success. All the proceeds will be donated to the cyclone relief fund through TANA. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food served by all local Indian restaurants.
