As you may be aware, NATA has provided all the needed help and assistance in arranging the deceased body of Kranthi Kumar Hinge, a Telugu NRI who passed away due to a massive heart attack on Saturday, Feb 9, 2013.
NATA was able to help sending the deceased body under the direct supervision and directions of Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy, NATA Advisory Council Member and a selfless philanthropic Telugu community leader in the US.
Kranthi Kumar worked for Invagen Pharmaceuticals in New York and survived by his wife, brother and parents. He was from Nandigama, Warangal district in Andhra Pradesh.
NATA Advisor Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy personally initiated the process and tasked Srinivas Ganagoni (BOD) to lead the effort in sending the deceased body of Kranthi Kumar to India. Srinivas immediately contacted Sudhakar Vidiyala, President of Invagen Pharmaceuticals and coordinated the whole process with the Hospital in NY and Hindu Funeral home in NJ. NATA has successfully shipped the dead body of Kranthi Kumar to India on Wednesday, Feb 13th through Air India flight (AI144) from EWR airport to Hyderabad. It is scheduled to arrive in Hyderabad on Feb 14, 2013 night.
NATA President Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy conveyed his deepest condolences to the family of the deceased family and requested NATA leaders to do everything possible to help sending the deceased body.
Dr. Malla Reddy personally visited the family members and conveyed his heartfelt condolences and gave an assurance to absorb all the expenses in sending the deceased body to India and provide all the help needed to the family. Dr. Samba Reddy, Chair - Community Services has assisted the team with the help from Srinivas Ganagoni and other members.
NATA leaders, Mohan Patalolla (Jt. Treasurer), Mahender Musuku (Executive Director), Naresh Chintalacheruvu(Co-Chair, CS), Vikram Jangam (BOD), Sreedhar Khumbala (RVP-NY), Mahesh Bigala ( Chair, PR) came forward and helped in the whole process.
