NATA - Dallas Convention coordination meeting

Dallas: North American Telugu Association (NATA) has organized a Dallas 2016 Convention coordination meeting in Dallas, Texas on April, 26th.

More than 150 people from NATA and various national and local Telugu organizations (NATS, TANA, ATA, GATS, Lions Club, KANA, DARA, TDF, TPAD, DATA, Kala Vahini) attended this event and pledged unconditional support for the biennial NATA convention, a mega event at the Dallas Convention center in Dallas downtown on memorial day week end (May 27-29, 2016).

To meet the expectations, NATA team has set up about 40 committees to diligently manage and complete the detailed tasks leading up to the mega event.

NATA international Vice-President Jayachandra Reddy started the meeting with welcome remarks and explained about NATA. He requested RVP Darga Nagireddy to be MC for the event. 

Darga Nagireddy thanked all the guests and introduced all the NATA Leadership and leaders of various national and local Telugu organizations.

He has also briefed about upcoming local NATA activities including 5k run on May 3rd at Andrew Brown Park East. He has requested all DFW residents including women and kids to take part in 5K run to support Nepal Earthquake Victims. Any contributions in the event will go to the Nepal Earthquake Victims.

Dr. Ramana Reddy Guduru, Convener for 2016 NATA Dallas Convention thanked all the guests who took their personal time to attend the event.

He explained details about the Convention. He requested everyone to participate and volunteer in various committees to make the convention a grand success. He thanked all the leaders from various organizations for extending their support for convention.

Ramasurya Reddy, Coordinator for Dallas Convention, listed about 40 committees that will be constituted for the smooth execution of the Convention activities.

He has expressed the need of at least 300 volunteers for the convention and encouraged all the guests to enroll as many volunteers as possible towards this number. He has asked everyone to participate and support the event.

He mentioned, with the success of the last two NATA conventions the expectations are very high for this 2016 Convention. He then introduced NATA past-president and Advisory council member AVN Reddy to audience. 

Advisory Council member AVN Reddy has explained about NATA history and how the convention came to Dallas. He has requested everyone to participate and make it grand success. Dr. Mohan Mallam, NATA President has expressed his complete trust and confidence on NATA Dallas team.

TANTEX President Narasimha Reddy Urimindi, Past President Suresh Manduva, Shyamala Rumalla, Mr and Mrs Krishnaveni Seelam pledged unconditional support to NATA Convention and expressed their excitement in co-hosting the convention. They have also thanked NATA Advisory Council Chair Dr. Prem Reddy and NATA for being the proud diamond sponsor to TANTEX.

NATA leaders Dr. S. Raghava Reddy, Dr. Tarakumar Reddy, Vishnu Battula, Gurram Srinivas Reddy, Rao Kalvala, Mahesh Guduru, Sridevi Tenepalli, Phalgun Reddy, Uma Kurri, Jayasimha Reddy, Sudharkar Srirangapalli,Raghu Gajjala,Ramana Reddy Putluri,Ravindra Reddy, Chenna Reddy Korvi,Satish seeram, Sreenivasa Obulareddy, Mallikharjuna Reddy Murari, Arpitha Obulareddy, Satish Bommineni,Ramesh Raju,Nagaraja Challa,Ravi Chandra Kona,Venkat Reddy,Uma Mahesh Parnapalli,Srinivasa Veerabhadra, Venkat Thandra pledged to make the convention a memorable event. 

Leaders from various local and national Telugu organizations Madhu Guduru, Sunil Devireddy,Madhu Mallu, Subba Reddy Kondru, Chandra Ponnapu,Krishna Reddy Uppalapati, Chandra Budda, Srinath Palavala, Prasada Reddy Choppa, Navneet Krishna, Sesharao Boddu, Srinivas Ravella, MVL Prasad, Venkat Kolli, Srinivas Koneru, Anji Babu Ananthula, Lacha Reddy, Prabhakar Metta, Srinivasa Reddy Gali, Srinivasa Reddy Yarram, Satyan Kalyan Durg, Ananth Arvind, Krishnaveni Seelam, Sridhar Raju and others showed their enthusiasm to be part of the convention and pledged the support to make NATA 2016 memorial day week end convention a memorable one. The NATA team is extremely grateful to the support of all the local and national organizations for making this meeting grand success.

Ramasurya Reddy thanked everyone for extending unconditional support.
