Whenever Saina Nehwal or PV Sindhu bring laurels to the country, it usually escapes the notice of the Telangana Chief Minister, KCR.
For example, PV Sindhu won the Macau Open for the third time in a row, but there was no congratulatory message from KCR.
On the other hand, whenever Sania Mirza wins a doubles tournament, the CM goes head- over- heels in awarding cash prizes and singing her praises.
Does the CM follow only the performances of Sania Mirza? Is it because he is so enamored of tennis that he named her the brand ambassador of Telangana? What wrong did Saina or Sindhu do? Are they not citizens of Telangana too?
What should they do to win encouragement from the TRS administration? Maybe they ought to change their names to Saina Mirza and Sindhu Mirza. KCR would also appoint them brand ambassadors then and score a few brownie political points.
