Dallas, TX: ITServe is now the largest association of IT products development / Services / Staffing / organizations. It’s incredible how an alliance that started in 2010 grew year on year to now be such a formidable organization.
There is one thing that’s common in all strong movements - they all start in the context of a crisis. ITServe too rose as an answer to an impending weakness.
In 2010, the Neufeld Memo caused great inconveniences to Indian employers overseas. It was then that the vulnerability of being an immigrant (Employers & Employees) on foreign soil became ever so evident. It was important to have a strong unified voice to protect interests of the IT Industry. It was important for us to be a community rather than individuals - thus ITServe was born.
ITServe knew that a community gets stronger through its numbers. In order to maintain a close-knit alliance, in the next two years, ITServe established its strategy and platform for growth with Chapters, Partnerships, Membership Benefits and Policy Advocacy being clearly defined and perfected.
With its strategy in place, in 2013 ITServe diversified and expanded. Key discussions were initiated with organizations from Atlanta, Chicago and NJ to join the policy advocacy at D.C.
Building a community is hard work. Throughout 2014, ITServe educated members with the support of numerous industry leaders, association benefits were showcased to sponsors and partners on boarded to continue financial viability.
By 2015, all that hard work started showing results. Members grew from 75 to 250, evolving as a larger collaborative platform for the IT industry globally. It Conducted the Inaugural Annual Conference, showcased knowledge sessions to more than 700 participants.
In 2016, Five years of robust groundwork shows Ascending growth from 2 chapters and 250 members to 9 chapters with over 650 members. The entire workforce under the ITServe canopy is 30K in USA & 40K in India who support our operations.
The 2nd annual conference ITServe Synergy 2016 was a roaring success. More than 1,200 members of the IT community came together to discuss new technologies, the latest best practices, and lessons learned from the past year. ITServe is strong and the combined value is over 2.5 billion dollars.
