Telangana American Telugu Association conducted a meet and greet event felicitating Hyderabadi actor and dialogue writer D.C. Sreevastav (a well know fame in Blockbuster Movie Angrez Fame- Ismail Bhai) in Fremont, California.
Being a busy weekend and a short notice, event was attended by over 120 NRIs, IT professionals, students and other from different walks of life who are ardent fans of Ismail Bhai.
Event started with introduction by Appi Reddy - T.A.T.A Regional Vice President followed by Telangana Patriotic Song "Jaya Hey Jaya Telangana" delivered by Srinivasa Manapragada - T.A.T.A Language & Cultural Chair and Venkat.
Speaking at the occasion Vijay Chavva T.A.T.A Board of Director (BOD) praised the immense talent of Sreevastav (Ismail Bhai) who had introduced the life in Hyderabad old city and the slang/dialect showcased in Angrez Movie.
Iqbal Mohammed Gattur, T.A.T.A Minority Chair who initiated in organizing this event, remembered the acting that Sreevastav showcased and said that the movie Angrez makes a nostalgic experience of those hail from Hyderabad.
Speaking to the group Sreevastav (Ismail Bhai) thanked Appi Reddy RVP, Vijay Chavva BOD, California T.A.T.A Team, T.A.T.A President Jhansi Reddy and T.A.T.A Executive Committee on arranging the felicitation.
Sharing his experiences and association with Angrez Movie. Sreevastav rendering many hilarious dialogues from the Angrez movie "Pacchees saal se Charminar mein bait ke Hu, Kya Tho bhi samajhrey rey" which made the audience split into laughs.
Sreevastav also spoke on his upcoming movie assignments and requested the Telangana Government to support on his endeavors and his own Team Works Banner Movie which is the first of its kind Hyderabadi Black Comedy Movie in Hollywood style.
Speaking Srinivasa Manapragada gave assurance to Sreevastav that people of Hyderabad living in US and NRI's around the world will surely support such Movies which can make Hyderabad known for its kind in the World Map, and thanked Sreevastav in accepting the invitation at a short notice to meet the NRIs in Bay Area.
Satish T.A.T.A Youth Coordinator was MC for this event, organized Q&A interacting session with Ismail Bhai which stood as main attraction of this event. Amit and T.A.T.A Yuva volunteered on arrangements and made this event a grand success.
