ATA - 5K Run is a grand Success

American Telugu Association (ATA) has organized a 5k run on Sunday, May 25th in Fairfax, Virginia. There were around 1000 people participated in it in support of ata-13TH Convention & Youth Conference to be held in Philadelphia Convention Center during July 3rd-5th.

All proceeds from this run was donated to Matrubhoomi Charitable Trust helping Orphan Children in Warangal, India. Delegate David Ramadan graced the occasion and appreciated the charity work and community involvement by the ATA members in the area.

There were many children, young teenagers and Senior Citizens participated in the Run and it was a festive look and cheers all around. It was a great family event on a Memorial Day weekend for them to come out and have fun.  Many expressed their interest in attending Philadelphia Convention. 5k run team consists of Madhu Vuradi, Sudharshan Reddy, Ramesh Kura, Madhu Allani, Srinivas Repala, Kavita Challa, Manju Busireddy, Jyothi Charukupalli, Mahesh Rao, Anand Erram, Nagaraj Sriram, ramana Reddy, Pradeep Karnati, Madhu Alugubelli, Narsimha Doma, Sravan Paduru, Amar Bojja, Gopal Reddy, Hari Kancharla, Pavan Kondapally, Naveen Reddy, Ram Ganta, Seshu Mallepalli, Ashvini Anjutgi, Padma Madireddy, Krishna Gavili, Hemanth Kishore and many more ATA leaders and volunteers who helped to organize the event with an excellent planning and execution. 

Speaking at the gathering, Convention Coordinator Bhuvanesh Boojala stressed on the importance of attending the upcoming convention and explained about the various activities planned for the event and personally extended the invitation to the ATA-13th Convention to be held in Philadelphia.  
 
The event was concluded by presenting trophies to the winners and runners of the event in various categories by the ATA leaders. Leaders thanked Swadesh Foods, Charminar Indian Restaurant, Country Oven, Mayuri Indian Cuisine for their delicious Breakfast and other valuable sponsors were Rean Soluytions, Krishna QA Training, Janetha Immigration Law Firm, Study Concepts, 3C Logic, Car Clinic, NY Life Insurance, Sitara Banquet hall, Vigna Solutions, Temburni Dentistry, Challa Linga Reddy Trust, and also thanked Eshwar Banda from TV9, Rajashekhar Baswaraju from TV5 and Hari Vemula for the excellent photography for the event.

ATA BOTs Rajesh Madireddy, Soumya Kondapally, Janetha Kancharla, Adhoc committee member RamMohan Konda, RCs Venkat Kondapolu, Ravi Bojja, Sridhar Banala, thanked the entire crowd for attending the event and thanked the volunteers for their help.

Other Conference Committee leaders who supported the event was Jayanth Challa, Ram Mattapalli, Goutham Amarneni, Jay Annam, Lokesh Reddy, Manohar Enugu,  Madhu Vuradi, Vishu Kalawala, Hemanth Kishore, Sravan Paduru, Madan Vanga, Vishnu Madavaram, Badrinath Challa, Murali Malyala, Hemanth Kishore, Purna Dokku, Narsimha Koppula.

ATA - Washington DC team efforts made this entire event a grand success and making the event as one of its kind in the DC metro area.
