Nayana Sreenivasa Reddy, the heart behind Amma Anadha Saranalayam says, “Nothing in this world is more precious than mother. I felt that. And when I heard the ghazal on mother sung by Dr Ghazal Srinivas, I was totally lost. My heart started beating only about mother from then onwards. This is a naxal affected area, where the comrades live away from their mothers, away from home, wife and children. I wish this Home would touch the heart strings of naxals and make them smell the eternal fragrance of mother. I find no other person is apt for inaugurating this Amma Anadha Saranalayam than Dr Ghazal Srinivas. The inauguration is on 28th March. Sri Gopala Krishna Dwivedi, the District Collector of East Godavari will be Chief Guest”.
He also added saying, “This is a very backward place where downtrodden people live. Many children of parents became naxalites and were killed in due course of time leaving their parents as orphans. Similarly many parents who have become naxals and died made their children orphans. To give shelter for all such homeless, we are srating this Amma Anadha Saranalayam with the inspiration of Dr Ghazal Srinivas”.
